Privacy Policy

Location.When you choose your city or state, that choice is stored on your device and used to show you relevant news and resources. A non-identifying city or state code is sent to our database only to look up content for your area. If you tap "use my location," your device's location is used once, on your device, to detect your state — it is not stored or sent to us.

Volunteer sign-ups. If you choose to join the Volunteer Network, we collect the name and phone number you provide, and an optional ZIP code. This is used to connect you with local organizations that need volunteers.

Feedback. If you send feedback, we receive what you write, plus an optional rating and subject.

What we don't collect. No account or password (Cuida has no login), no advertising identifiers, no third-party analytics or tracking, and no browsing history.

We use your location choice to tailor news and resources, your volunteer details to connect you with local organizations, and your feedback to improve the app. That's it.

App data is stored with a reputable third-party cloud infrastructure provider that acts as our data processor under confidentiality terms. We do not sell or rent your information, and we do not share it for advertising.

Volunteer sign-up details may be shared with vetted local organizations for the sole purpose of connecting you with volunteer opportunities you asked to be part of. We share nothing else.

You can use Cuida's news, rights guides, and resources without submitting any personal information. Joining the Volunteer Network and sending feedback are always optional. To request access to or deletion of information you've submitted, contact us at the address below.

Cuida is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect information from them.

We may update this policy as Cuida grows. Material changes will be reflected here with a new effective date.
